Program description
The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies: Entrepreneurial Design pathway combines coursework in Human-Centered Design through the da Vinci Center, Creative Practices, and the minor in Entrepreneurship with BIS core courses. This pathway positions students for careers in web design and/or other digitally creative fields. By combining this coursework with instruction in interdisciplinary methodology, BIS students will understand how to design effective websites for businesses and/or to run their own businesses. Upon graduation, students will be awarded the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Career opportunities
BIS graduates with a focus in Entrepreneurial Design are well prepared to seek employment in corporate, nonprofit and government agencies. Additionally, graduates will be well-equipped to begin the process of forming their very own web design business.
